Small tutorial to make ur Firefox Fast

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere in the "aboug:config" page and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

4. Restart Firefox

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-3 times faster now.

if u r nt having broadband connection&if u r a gprs user thn pls dnt try it becos sometimes it reduces the speed,ulta ho jata hai.i had tried this one,when airtel gprs was working with proxifier&aslo with mo. :-[

vaibhav bro mein toh waise bhi secure browsing karna pasand karta hun,aur yeh browser itna popular bhi nhin hai.
opera is slower than mozilla but have award wining browser features like a good pop-up blocker than mozilla and best is not shown password as easy as in mozilla.and the downloader of opera can resume link at the point when the network fail if resume support by host but in mozilla downloader u need to start from beginning that is biggest point for gprs user who doesn't like to start download from begining when network fails.
and rendring of page speed is best in safari browser if u use broadband.

I have downloaded opera 10.. cuz when i searched for opera turbo in google i got opera v10 link n in that they hv mentioned opera turbo n al.. i hv downloaded it but i dunno hw i can use opera turbo for faster browsing.. thru opera v10 browsing is too slow wid my airtel MO... Pls someone let me know hw to use opera turbo? or

if it is different frm opera v10 then pls give me the link to download OPERA TURBO...
